How we keep Bluetick fair & respectful

These guidelines help every member contribute to rankings, forums, and discussions in a way that keeps the community trustworthy.

Bluetick Top 100 is built on community-driven curation. For that to work, every member must be able to vote, debate, and contribute without abuse, manipulation, or harassment. These guidelines apply to all areas of the Platform, including votes, comments, forum posts, lists, and messages. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the full legal rules.

The Do's

  • Vote honestly based on your genuine opinion.
  • Earn XP, badges, and streaks through real participation.
  • Respect other members, even when you disagree.
  • Support your ranking arguments with evidence and context.
  • Report rule-breaking content using the report button.
  • Keep discussions on-topic and constructive.
  • Credit sources when sharing external data or research.
  • Use appropriate language in every community space.

The Don'ts

  • Do not manipulate votes with bots, scripts, or multiple accounts.
  • Do not farm XP, missions, badges, or streaks with spam or automation.
  • Do not harass, bully, or threaten other members.
  • Do not post hate speech, discrimination, or offensive content.
  • Do not spam, self-promote, or flood discussions.
  • Do not impersonate others or share false information.
  • Do not post private or confidential information about others.
  • Do not link to malicious, pirated, or illegal content.

Rewards & Fair Play

Bluetick's gamification features — XP, levels, badges, streaks, missions, the community leaderboard, and personal analytics — exist to celebrate genuine participation. Please keep them fair:

  • Participate genuinely. XP is earned from real activity such as voting, commenting, saving, sharing, and completing missions. Every reward should reflect something you actually did;
  • Rewards don't buy rank. XP, badges, levels, and streaks never change your voting power or any candidate's position — rankings are decided only by community votes;
  • Earn within the limits. Daily caps apply to how much XP certain actions can earn. Caps throttle XP only — they never reduce your streak or mission progress;
  • No gaming the system. Spamming comments, using bots or scripts, or running multiple accounts to farm XP, complete missions artificially, or climb the leaderboard is manipulation and is treated the same as vote manipulation; and
  • Leaderboard integrity. We may audit, adjust, or remove XP, badges, streaks, and leaderboard entries obtained improperly, and repeat offenders may lose their rewards entirely.

Badges and levels are decorative achievements — they carry no special privileges, cannot be sold or traded, and have no monetary value.

Reporting Violations

If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the report button on the item or contact us directly. Our moderation team reviews reports and takes action, which may include content removal, warnings, or account suspension. Repeated or serious violations may lead to permanent termination of your account.

Consequences

  • Warning — for first-time or minor violations;
  • Temporary suspension — for repeated or serious violations; and
  • Permanent ban — for vote manipulation, threats, or illegal activity.

We may also restore or adjust rankings that were affected by manipulated votes to protect the integrity of the Top 100, and we may remove XP, badges, streaks, or leaderboard entries obtained by breaking these guidelines.
