Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bluetick Top 100 ("Bluetick", "the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials;
• All activity that occurs under your account; and
• Providing accurate, current, and complete registration information.

You can register with an email address or with Google Sign-In. When you use Google Sign-In you remain bound by these terms, and you are responsible for activity performed through the Google-linked account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or otherwise compromise the integrity of the Platform.

3. Acceptable Use & Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or multiple accounts to manipulate votes, rankings, or gamification rewards (XP, missions, badges, streaks, or leaderboard positions);
• Post spam, harassment, hate speech, or abusive content;
• Impersonate other users, organizations, or public figures;
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts; or
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By submitting content, you grant Bluetick a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote it within the Platform. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and represent that you have the rights to do so.

5. Rankings & Votes

All rankings are determined by a combination of community votes, external data, and on-platform engagement through our public methodology. We do not guarantee the accuracy, objectivity, or completeness of any ranking. Manipulation of votes through automated means is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

6. Rewards, XP & Gamification

Bluetick offers gamification features — XP (experience points), levels, badges, streaks, daily missions, a public community leaderboard, and a personal analytics page — to recognise genuine participation. These features are governed by the following rules:

• No monetary value. XP, badges, levels, streaks, and mission rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be sold, traded, or redeemed. They grant no property right, licence, or entitlement of any kind;
• No effect on rankings. Rewards never change your voting power or any candidate's position. Rankings are decided solely by community votes under our methodology;
• Earned through genuine use only. Rewards must be earned through authentic on-platform activity. Automating actions, spamming, exploiting bugs, or operating multiple accounts to farm XP, complete missions artificially, or climb the leaderboard is prohibited under section 3;
• Daily limits and corrections. We may apply daily caps to the XP certain actions can earn, and we may audit, adjust, recalculate, or remove XP, badges, streaks, mission rewards, or leaderboard entries obtained improperly or through error;
• Public display. Leaderboard entries publicly display your display name, avatar, level, XP, streak, and badge count. Your detailed analytics page is visible only to you. IP addresses and device identifiers recorded for abuse prevention are stored in hashed form and are never shown publicly; and
• Modification or discontinuation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any reward feature — including XP amounts, badge definitions, mission rewards, and leaderboard formatting — at any time without liability.

7. Premium Services & Payments

Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed according to the plan you select and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Payments are processed by PayPal and Paystack. By subscribing you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and you agree to the terms of the provider that handles your transaction:

• PayPal — card and PayPal balance payments, recurring billing and refunds, handled under PayPal's user agreement;
• Paystack — card, bank transfer and supported local payment methods, handled under Paystack's terms of use; and
• Bluetick does not store your full card number, CVV, or bank credentials; subscription status and receipts are what we keep.

Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as displayed at checkout. If a renewal payment fails, your subscription may downgrade to a free account until payment succeeds.

8. Advertising & Google AdSense

The Platform is supported in part by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads may appear on ranking, category, forum, and profile pages.

• Advertising content, creatives, and landing pages are chosen and controlled by Google and its advertisers, not by Bluetick;
• You may manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings;
• Ad blockers are permitted for your own use, but blocking essential Platform resources may affect functionality; and
• You must not interact with ads fraudulently (for example, automated or incentivized clicking), which may lead to suspension and may violate Google's advertising policies.

9. Sign-In with Google

You may use Google Sign-In to register or log in. This feature is provided by Google and is subject to Google's terms and the Google Privacy Policy.

• We receive only the basic profile details you approve (name, email address, profile picture) and use them to create and secure your account;
• We never see or store your Google password;
• You may disconnect Google Sign-In at any time in account settings, and you must notify us if you believe your Google account has been compromised; and
• Where Google Sign-In is used, these terms and our Privacy Policy still govern your use of Bluetick.

10. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its branding, design, methodology, and software, is the property of Bluetick and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Platform without prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Bluetick Top 100 is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bluetick operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
