Bluetick does not tell you what is #1. The community votes to decide what is #1.

Ranked by people.
Your vote. Your ranking.
The core principle
Bluetick does not decide what is #1. People vote, and the community ranking shows the result.
Every Bluetick ranking is a community vote. Bluetick is a community-powered ranking platform — not an official ranking authority, not a professional ranking organisation, and not a definitive measurement of quality for any person, place or organisation.
Community rankings represent votes and preferences from the Bluetick community during a stated voting period. They show what the community supports, not what Bluetick asserts to be objectively best.
The ten rules
Rankings represent community voting
A Bluetick ranking is the outcome of votes cast by Bluetick users. It is not an editorial verdict.
Rankings are calculated from valid user votes
Candidates are ordered by the number of valid community votes received in the current voting period.
Voting periods determine when votes count
Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and all-time periods exist. The default is monthly. Votes only count inside an open period.
One user, one vote per candidate
A user cannot repeatedly vote for the same candidate during the same voting period. You may vote for as many different candidates as a ranking allows.
Suspicious voting may be removed
Bluetick uses automated systems and manual review to detect suspicious voting activity. Reviewed votes can be removed and every change is logged.
Rankings update as votes are processed
Positions, vote counts, vote share and rank movement are recalculated whenever valid votes are recorded.
Closed periods are preserved
Once a voting period closes, the final ranking is kept as a historical snapshot. Historical rankings are never overwritten.
Vote share is a proportion, not a score
Vote share is the candidate's votes divided by the total valid votes in that ranking, expressed as a percentage. It is not an independent quality score.
These are not official rankings
Community rankings are not official rankings issued by the organisations, institutions, companies or individuals being ranked.
Facts come from external sources
Factual entity information may come from official websites, public records and other external sources. It is displayed separately from community voting results and never determines rank on its own.
Worked example
Suppose a community ranking has 96,000 valid votes in the September 2026 voting period, and one candidate has received 8,421 of them:
Movement is always read from stored historical snapshots — never from editorial judgement. For example: “Company A moved from #12 to #7 in the September 2026 Bluetick Community Ranking after receiving 4,821 additional votes.”
